And how are Shadow, Light, and Plasma not part of an Actual Magic? Especially Plasma, you know it’s a state of matter, right? Heck, Lightning would be Plasma’s subset if anything, so that’d automatically push Plasma as an Actual Magic.
magics & state of matter dolnt have to correlate
The entire point of Magic in AO is that it imitates the real thing; if water, earth, and air get to be an Actual Magic, then so should Plasma.
Kinda funny that you say this, because Cloud is the only Magic that is slandered both in-universe, in canon, and in the lore itself! —
Elius literally calls Cloud Magic to be one of the weaker Magics; The literal first ever Curse user that is mentioned and been shown in AO is the Cloud Curse user, and the plot is literally about how he instantly got his ass beat by a guy with NO MAGIC that we beat just to get oneshot by a guy with another Curse… the user of the Cloud Curse also gets crippled in chains and possibly also dies miserably; According to Vetex, people have literally evolved to not have this Magic. War Seas, a Cluster that is literally named after warfare, where almost everything is utilized for fighting collectively agreed that Cloud Magic is useless, and stopped using it to the point that people aren’t even born with it anymore! This is also the only Magic that is ever said to have anything done to it like this, btw…
Vetex might really have a personal beef with this Magic type.
