as in like
how do people fight eachother
Polls. Three battles at a time, lasting each probably about +/- 12 hours.
Winner of the polls moves onto the next round. This all means the topic will probably take at best, quite a while.
can’t wait for some moderator role to play and everyone just votes them because of their status (they are at a literal massive disadvantage against their opponent in terms of curse matchups but they win SOLELY because of the votes)
Prometheus doesn’t allow bias in this arena. That and unfair curses.
random question but would a nightmare/terror curse be banned?

Name: Sanek
Backstory
Sanek was your completely average high schooler. He got bullied by people at school, spent all his time online playing his favorite game Enchanted Voyage, and wrote small ideas and power systems in his spare time. Until he wasn’t.
He was camping with his parents when he found a glowing cube in the forest, being the horror movie idiot he is he decided to touch it, and it… disappeared? He tried to find it again but… it was just gone. Nowhere. Coming back home from the couple day trip, he searched online about what he saw and found out about the “Curses”, although no matter what he did his wouldn’t do anything. Deciding it must’ve failed or something, he moved on with his life and continued going to school.
He was expecting the hit, but just didn’t really care enough to try and get away. Although when it connected, he didn’t feel anything? Well, no. He felt powerful. He felt like he could kill this guy. He could kill this guy. He punched him back, and it released a small shockwave with the punch that knocked the attacker back a few steps. Then it dawned on him. This must be the curses power, reflecting the damage done on him to anyone he can see. He tried punching himself, and sent out another small shockwave.
Deciding to go home early to study this more, Sanek gathered a few objects one could use to harm a person, and began his tests. He tried harming himself multiple times, but he couldn’t feel any of it, although on one of his larger tests he accidentally broke a wall.
Looking back online to try and figure out more about the curses, he found out about the Arena. He still gets slightly hurt by his tests, but surely that wouldn’t matter if he can unleash the same amount of pain multiplied on his opponent right? Well, he has nothing going for him here, might as well fight.
Curse: Reflection Curse
The Reflection Curse allows its wielder to take any amount of damage inflicted on them recently, and multiply it, reflecting it onto the attacker. It also at the same time grants its user a pseudo-invulnerability, effectively allowing them to keep going as long as they can control their body, without feeling any form of pain or exhaustion (they’ll still be affected though). The Reflection Curses power is enough to generate a shockwave on every hit, scaling with the intensity of the hit, so its possible to be used at range but it might be ineffective.
Weapons:
Sanek has a large tower shield enchanted with his curse that allows him to absorb attacks without having to take any physical damage
put this together in a hour and a half (i think? idk), sorry if the backstory sucks its my first time actually writing
I like it. It’s good, but watch out for being overpowered by a fast curse. It might be your downfall.

It has to be something useful but not OP since willpower is already kind of borderline busted
Probably a steel bat or some blunt weapon that you can use to physically and metaphorically beat your opponent while their down and depressed on the ground
