I go and try to hide myself, without others’ activity, it’d be impossible to find the elevator while escaping this creature.
I give the side of the computer a good ol’ smack to try and make it stop glitching.
Unless this is a matter of me being unable to comprehend manmade horrors, in which case I just think about it really hard.

you, have nightvision goggles however, so this blackout shouldn’t affect you.

And cover my shoes in human skin shaped in a way so I don’t make as much noise.
