Stock, I don’t want them exiled. I want them better, to learn what they’ve done wrong, but you didn’t word your message as that, you worded it as DEFENDING their opinion.
I don’t want them banned. I don’t want them feeling ashamed. I want homophobic people, fueled by hate, to understand that its harmful, and that no one, not a soul, should feel condemned for something as pure as love or wanting to feel right in your own body.
That’s what you don’t understand. You’re compromising, not trying to teach or explain.

consequences for actions is the sole way to keep those actions from being normalized. By going “what the fuck dude” and punishing people for doing something, it is being said by the group that these sorts of actions are bad and will not be tolerated.

Acceptance and support are two different things. Let him believe what he wants to believe, otherwise it’s not “tolerance” or “human rights respect”, but a cut on our freedom. You got the freedom to kiss who you want, and he may want the freedom to think by himself.

You know, the fact you’re pushing the beliefs of yours into people’s minds using the argument “you’ll be banned” is literally terror. That’s exactly what any utopic regime has done to accomplish their goals, and that’s what annoys people. Instead for being up for debates, that are actually constructive and may bring positive results on both sides, y’all just ban people. Hate and disagreement are two many different things, but disagreements can be solved quite easily if both sides actually want it.
I’m waiting for the ban, if I do get banned, I will leave a mark at least. A mark of truth. Both sides are bad right now, it’s a compromise, either both sides are happy or both are unhappy and it’s all our decision.
