I mean, why not just magic? Living forever and never being able to swim again doesn’t sound so fun. Sure, I’m now an omnipotent being that can destroy everyone and everything with the flick of a finger(pretty much), but do you know how hard it’d probably be to get a girlfriend?
And then, oops, your immortal, now your wife is gone. I’d probably just pass, or go for some powerful magic instead.
