This create a large issue, if you don’t use cannons or mortars to have max speed, you’re now unboardable, since if they don’t use cannons so they can catch up with you, they can’t board you ship since they can’t sink it, but if they do use cannons to be able to sink you, they can’t catch up to you.

Basically, either you don’t run cannons in wich case you can’t sink them, or you run cannons in wich case you can never catchup to them
