Full Release Update Patch Notes (Discussion Thread)

I’m not 100% sure, but Vetex did say to me in one message he planned on adding all the bronze sea bosses this update so probably I guess.

vetex better add jorund questline if hes the baron

yes that is correct, those countries make up Scandinavia

Jorund for Bronze Corsair!!!
Arwald for Bronze Baron!!!

Arwalds in the nimbus sea though :sob:

Also he got payed off by the order of Aesir and then immediately betrayed them, even if he was a baron he certainly isn’t anymore

Yeah, prolly not Arwald.

Come to think of it, when Argos says that there’s specifically always exactly two barons and a high lord accompanying each other, why exactly is that?
Why does the order need 3 people per thing? If their ritual needed 3 people per faction, then we already stopped them.

Why is this the Star Wars “always two, there are” rule?

I think it’s just a system of organisation, I don’t think it means anything beyond that

But why did bro say that? it makes no sense

It’ll just be hinting that there’s one High Lord and two Barons every single sea. Plus, it’s just to sound intimidating because Argos

A fail safe in case one baron dies

R. A. Venna (totally real character trust): “Sir, Argos is dead!”
Calvus hastily phoning Jorund or whoever it is 30 seconds later:

Wouldn’t calvus be looking for the death curse though?

what if they communicated via snails like one piece
calvus’s pocket snail starts ringing and he picks it up
“Calvus, King of the Ravenna Realm. What do you want?”
“a second person has hit fort talos”
“WHAT?!?!?!?”

gonna off myself

He brought his phone with him

This is pretty neat, don’t know if we’ll see him in full release or not, but it’s neat to have some vague idea of when we’ll see him and that he’s in the sea we’re currently in.

if i had to guess the order of aesir has something like a “council” which includes their highest ranks (barons and high lords)

its likely 2 barons each for organizational and government purposes (kinda like how each US state has exactly 2 senators, except the reasoning for the order probably isnt equal representation)

each high lord commands 2 barons, who each command the agents and officers, with agents serving as basically experienced regular members, and officers possibly having a supervisory role with initiates and agents (Edit: as an example, King Calvus would obviously rule over everything Order-related in the Bronze Sea, with General Argos relaying and giving orders to people like Lady Carina and Lord Elius, and likely many others)

i made all of that up but i think it makes enough sense. I also believe the Order could have some form of deterrent in place to stop people from deserting (ex. rewarding those who kill or capture deserters) alongside the immense price for failing a mission (i doubt its literally just “no second chances” like Elius said, but theyre obviously very harsh with punishment at the very least)

OOK OOK EEK EEK

Makes a lot more sense then them getting blasted over there and somehow surviving it, still leaves the question of how they were able to make the trip, but I got faith that the spoiler explanation will both be interesting and make sense.
