i only have ice snow and water, no one’s colder (except blizzard or frostmetal ig)

That’s a lot more variety, but that still knocks a lot for something like Sand, a neutral temperature powder magic.

It certainly wouldn’t make me warmer if I got hit with sand, and it sure as heck doesn’t make steam.

Its heat adjacent, it has a synergies with most heat based status effects

I don’t think so in game, and irl sand is just tiny rocks so I don’t think it’s inherently hot.

Each magic has an objective factor of what temperature it is, you don’t need to use it to know.

It is a technical cold magic, though. It really is.
It might not be inherently cold, but it does count as a cold.

boom you use water, then ice, you got cold water.
wind then ice, boom, cold wind

I personally judge if something a heat cold or neutral magic depending on if it gets buffed by overheating/freezing
