Aren’t spirit weapons abilities gonna be interchangeable like normal weapon abilities?

yeah but some will remain exclusive to the weapon like the sunken sword’s

But following that analogy wouldn’t you still be able to switch the order of abilities to make a different ult?

just one thing i don’t understand is this, cause the lore doc makes it seem like you mutate into a lost and then mutate that lost into an ancient magic

My understanding:
1 hecate shard:
base → lost

2 hecate shards:
base → lost or ancient

Don’t take this as ‘be disappointed’ lol Moochezz just knows that the AO community as the AO community does might not like it

@moochezz
Does this not apply for spirit weapon ult arts?

You can’t switch ult arts :man_facepalming:

You can switch the order of attacks on normal weapons, your fifth is always the ult, I see no reason the same wouldn’t apply to spirit weapons

Vetex said some rites are unique to the spirit weapon, including the ult art, meaning they cannot be swapped

You can take the skills off of the Sunken Sword to get a Rising Tide skill note, you just can’t put it on anything other than a Sunken Sword. This also lets you make R.T. the Ultimate Art if you add it as the last of your sword’s skills. It’ll probably work the same for Spirit Weapons and their unique Rites.

If you want to test this yourself, grab a Triasta of Bronze and take it to a Blacksmith.

And here he is saying rites can be swapped like weapon skills :fr:

Yeah it probably will be like weapons and their ults, maybe moochezz is just saying it bc there isn’t a way to swap rites around yet (bc only spirit blast)

Oh yeah, forgot that the Eagle Patrimony also can’t be disarmed yet. Good thing too, because if somebody did that, they’d be out of Astrapikis and Astropos for the entire file unless they traded a skill note from a throwaway one.

Bro I swear he said spirit weapons have 3 “standard skills” that can be swapped out and two “special” that can’t

He said 2 skills that would be unique to the weapon but he didn’t say you couldn’t equip and unequip them to switch ults on that weapon

Idk man, at this point when it comes to spirit weapons, whatever we get, we get

Found it

It doesn’t specify but I think it would be best if you could choose which rite is an ult
