Oracles now have 10 Rites, 6 basic and 4 exclusive, meaning they have the same number of ability types as Berserker, 6 basic and 4 rare. However, compared to Berserker, Oracles still have 6 fewer skill slots, only two elements (and they don’t interact with each other), and no customization on any of their 10 Rites whilst Berserker has a lot (Smash is basically two techniques in one since slam and shockwave are so different). All this is to say, Oracle is not ready to join the other pure builds yet, BUT it’s getting close.

its cause every time i expect something good like a cool new patch note about that aa feature the testers keep talking about and then its just “hurr durr eat soap funny hee hee”

one more spirit weapon at minimum i think is what it needs to be made available, and then it still needs more to be proper

Knight being able to have upwards of 20+ moves is quite silly in my opinion

speaking of that, my comment about the consumption was more about the fact that the soap isn’t a permanent item and that you’d need to constantly get more, which looking at the replies i think people took another way

I don’t think comparing them to berzerker is the best thing since oracles are functionally more like magic with the customizability of weapons

I used Berserker as a comparison because it’s the only build that has the same number of techniques as Oracle. Also I’m talking purely about numbers and customization here, not playstyles.

Mages have 11 because the fighting style stat req equivalent to Cannon didn’t get added.

All of these skills just to be beaten by the classic combo of blast + beam

Honestly by the time Savants have enough stat points for that I think that’ll finally have been shaken up by all the rare abilities
