As the saying goes “If it ain’t broken don’t fix it” people will still probably use the classic blast beam cycle (especially since what rare spells have currently shown isn’t all that promising)

Oh it’s GOTTA be ghost ships then. In AA, each sea had unique ghost ships, there was never the same one in two seas. For example, the First Sea had the Nebula while the Second Sea had the Aggressor, Cyclops, and Flying Dutchman. So if this feature is currently being worked on for the Bronze Sea only, it’s safe to bet it’s ghost ships.

Augh I hope so. AO really didn’t deliver on fighting style mentor lore as much as AA did, but hopefully the same won’t go for ghost ships. I’m pretty optimistic about it actually.

As an fstyle main I gotta say it, spirit weapons need the focus soooo much more right now. Like don’t get me wrong, I’m gonna be disappointed if we don’t get those gunpowder and vanishing styles in this update, but spirit needs to be prioritized above all else. Poor guys have waited 2 years :sob:

Its usable in concept, it works when king calvus uses it, it just cant target for crap ingame

Needs a buff badly, it can only hit a stationary target (which can’t just be timed because it’s on a timer), and the first shot is guaranteed to miss.

I could also see this applying to legendary ships
But to be honest, I have a bit of a gripe with the ghost ship theory and it’s that I don’t really think ghost ships are going to turn the community upside down
