Oh, I see.. The quest’s content is probably about killing our own shadow (clone) so that light can pass right through us, allowing us to vanish.
If I’m right, I wonder if that means we won’t cast a shadow after the quest is complete…

how that’d look:

i mean, knights already have 6 slots, 3 for a type; i dont think they need to have an exclusive item… that and Spirit is seemingly inert and refuses to be apart of any other class (that or we havent got them yet, but I’d be interested on how this could happen without feeling like weapons 2.0)

if we went with the obvious approach and let Knight exclusive weapons use either Rites or Skills: then we’d also have the abomination of “super Oracle/Warrior” where one person has 6 different normal weapons skills: imagine a Knight with a Shield, Bow, Greatsword, Spear, Claws, and a Hammer that also have the ability to imbue into eachother + their own unique effect. That and I dont think it’d be possible to have these exist alongside spirit imbue because shenanigans.


i think i worded this weirdly, but Knights got a very tough challenge to give it exclusive items that are reasonable; to the point where i think the fact that they have 6 unique slots works fine enough.

Imagine if Spirit slots are Knight/Savant exclusive though; Knight awakening gives you seperate slots.

Yeah, but we will be supposed to use ancient magics a lot when they come out. They are supposed to become our main thing. It’d be pretty fucking stupid if it was “here’s a magic that is extremely rare it borders legend, you’ll use it like thrice before never using it again”.

Oracle is probably going to be the same/similar to warrior with it just having more ancient/powerful spirit weapons/rites than hybrid users

as a warrior you got access to any skill you want for any situation, you’re basically better savant

I played warrior but without the skills (knight) from the dark sea update until mistral and let me tell you, weapon builds are fine

Especially with what they will be getting this update

im asking to have weapons that look like other weapons did you read what im saying :sob:

So you want…lets theoretiacly say, a gamepass…That allows you to visualy hold a mace, but in reality, use a kai sabre?
Basicly vanity looks of the weapons?

no, it would have to be a weapon of the same type, you shouldn’t be allowed to have a vindicator look like an old dagger

tbh, just make up lore that warriors can use trace magic to open some pocket dimension where they can store their weapons when not in use

i also would like to advocate for choosing set weapon positions on the character but it’s smarter to take baby steps here

Imagine if someone shoots a light blast at you but it’s actually metal magic, that’s the equivalent

that’s not what im asking for though
at least add the ability to dye weapons or something, anything of the sort
it’s stupid if you’ve got matching drip with weapons one update and are forced to run the stupidest looking weapons the next

I think vetex said something about weapon aura color but I don’t think he would let you color the weapon itself

why?
it’d be nice if there was an option to hide weapons on your character, but this seems way too difficult to add for barely any benefit

more just because i like how ravenna weapons look
