Full Release Update Patch Notes (Discussion Thread)

I don’t care about skyhalls racism I’m just racist to them anyway

theyre gonna turn out to be nice and kind to everyone and you’re gonna slaughter the civilians anyways

Yeah I would imagine that the genocide of an entire race (winterveil) does in fact count as racism

Its so nice

cant wait for someone to roll the 1/100000000000000 chance to get an iris, morden, and neviro clone walking around in a town

Citizens of the war seas realising its dark at night

Not quite as funny as somebody getting a screenshot of Black Iris.

not even iris can dodge the tanning feature

That’s why she was at frostmill

I adore that some of them will be still up and about at night with their little torches.
It’s good to see that the real features beyond mere QoL are finally being added.

If they go into their homes, and you destroy the home, does it still count for murder, or do they leave, do they just get vaporized without a trace?

Depends on how bad homelessness is. Neviro seems to think it’s actually quite good

If you destroy all of the homes, for that matter, where do they go?

ok but why is no one worried about the optimization issues of this feature? weren’t they the reason why the feature was removed in the TGR?

It’s client sided, meaning that it only affects your pc. He will likely include a setting to turn it off for low-end devices.

i doubt it cause this is the kinda thing that you cant really disable reasonably
“town npcs? X” would be a weird option

The optimization part got handled, that’s why it’s back. It’s cliently.

I do also suspect that there will be a way to disable it, since the game’s been fine without it until now.

I hope with this feature being added he re adds house interiors

I hope the heck not.
Most useless areas in the game aside from the actually kind of beautiful shops, and King Silver’s quarters.

does “being weird” really matter when it comes to playability?

to vetex it does
i will die on this hill
