i didn’t even play gen 5, i’m sorry that i won’t settle for the bare minimum of a buggy-ass game incomplete that makes you pay another $60 for content that should be base content
every strength Scar/Vi has has been done better in previous generations and games with older tech anyway. you’re part of the reason pokémon is settling for shameless mediocrity

pokemon fans when they see minor visual glitches (the game is “unplayable”) 
the game is the most fun i’ve ever had from any pokemon game. The teambuilding variety is peak, raids give you plenty of cool terastal types in addition to the wild tera types. The story is the best (could do with voiceacting tho), and the shiny hunting + PVP has kept me playing for looonggg into the post game

the visuals, assets, animations, writing, and everything about it are of the quality i would only be impressed by if made by a legitimately independent team with a small IP and no game history, but Pokémon and Gamefreak make millions and this is hilariously disappointing compared to the standards of the industry as well as the previous ones Gamefreak has set in previous games.
don’t be afraid to actually demand more of the stuff you pay for and the companies you support, it ain’t exactly like Gamefreak is short for money

yes? you’re acting as if you could choose all 900+ pokemon in a normal playthrough of an old game.
the only meta dragon is dragonite it’s tera type is so predictable, cuz it’s always normal for espeed stab and very, VERY occasionally steel. Just run any of the plethora of good fighting types or flutter mane and you solo it EZ.
bruh there’s literally no better story. Are we really gonna cope over B/W “”“”“Exploring”“”“”" pokemon oppression, when all they did was present the idea and then say nuh uh it’s totally fine.
i have literally never seen the first or last ones, you’d have to go out of your way to perform those. As for the camera clipping through the floor, yeah that’s annoying
you’d be surprised at how many people somehow managed to clip through the map

you literally could, it was called the National Dex 
honestly, as i’m hearing it, Gen 9 has the best competitive balance but i still don’t think it’s a major factor in what makes the game good as a whole when the mechanic itself is, at least to me, not that interesting. that said, i am admittedly biased and enjoy things open for design like Mega Evolutions (i think Gigantamax is a cool concept but don’t enjoy the designs they’ve made for it)
Sun Moon hits the beats that Scar/Vi want to aside from the legendary companionship, which i actually quite enjoy. don’t ignorantly lump me in with Gen 5 lovers when all i said was that it seemed good bro
cool, they shouldn’t be happening at all when you consider how much Gamefreak is ripping you off for it.
i love pokémon as much as anyone, hell it is one of the main inspirations for my art and career, but you are settling for the least and it’s kinda sad to see Gamefreak apologists paying nearly three times as much money for a literal fraction of the content Gamefreak used to include

i love x/y and it’s one of my favorite generations too. the designs, music, lore, and energy was so fun that it got me back into pokémon for a while
real, but i do wish it was executed a lot better bc i literally had no idea who any of them were when i finished the game (granted i was still in grade school and i never read anything at the time)
