Now, these aren’t abs, I admit. However, I drew this for SoifonFan74473727720’s Art thread (go check it out, btw), and I think it might be helpful for to the other artists here. Basically, it’s a brief go-over on how to draw breasts, and how clothing and gravity affect them.
OKAY, SO I UP AND DREW ABS (actually, entire torsos) FOR YA’LL NERDS TO LEARN. Depicted are several common mistakes when drawing bodies. Keep in mind that I have the luxury of using a symmetry tool, as these two are facing forwards, and thus I’m basically doing it on easy mode. Mistakes will happen for everyone, just keep the following in mind when drawing semi-realistic human anatomy.
The red lines represent muscles, whereas the faded blue ones show structure. I’d advise building up the basic structure of your characters first, before adding muscle.
Alright, first here’s a how-to for lightning, as I figured that’d be easier than drawing the two sexiest characters in the game. Next I’ll do weapon basics.
Keep in mind this is for regular lightning. Lost magics and the like should probably be a bit more detailed. Not that we’ll have those anytime soon, but still.
If I had seen this first instead taking a few hours trying to draw lightning on my last art post…
An alternative way you can do the final step is copying the lightning layer you already drew, recolor the lightning layer underneath, set it to Add, then set to Gaussian Blur. If not bright enough, just double this layer again and merge the two.
Airbrush is good too tho who dont wanna be bothered with the mechanics of digital art (I prefer the other due to glow consistency)
Okay, basic weapons guide. I admit I don’t draw these often, and my advise is fairly limited. The big thing is to always use a line to indicate the direction the weapon is pointing. For this, use the ruler tool, don’t rely on guesswork. You’d be surprised how often artists fail to make the weapon’s blade or shaft align with the handle.
Also, draw the hand, as all weapons are made for it, it’s useful to ensure the weapon’s proportions line up in a way that ensures the weapon could actually be used.
I’m gonna level with you: I have no idea who that is. If I happened to say something similar to a quote from this character, it is by sheer coincidence.
