Deleting my intended rant because I know it won’t produce anything of meaning.
Look, man, I know you intend well, but you really, really did not convey that in sending this. I do, politely yet firmly, ask that you refrain from giving unrequested criticism like so in the future. I only say this politely because I think I once asked for it in the past, and may’ve made the mistake of saying that I was always open to it.
And, yes, my art has been stagnating. That’s what happens when you’re taking a college class you didn’t want to take, been busy writing over 20k words of polished Fanfiction, and have been planning out original writing and a D&D campaign—along with trying to deal with your own pretty terrible mental health and unproductive habits. You will have to forgive me if my improvements are not up to your or anyone else’s expectations on account of me being a human being with a multitude of hobbies, varying mental states and possible mental illnesses, and a life to live.
