Gel Potions effects and are they useful?

One question. What magic effect can and can’t be replicated with gel potions?
This info can be used to create better PVP loudouts ig (idk the word for it)

useful yes
want extra damage? harming
enemy too fast? slowing
attack synergy? sandy/freezing/whatever

well let’s see
plasma(scorch)
fire(burning)
lightning(electric)
water(tide)
wind(gale)
sand(sand)
ice/snow(freezing)
glass/wood/metal/earth(bleeding)
poison(poison)
acid(corroding)
magma(melting)
light(blinded)
overall that’s the list I can think of
but why do those when you can just use slowness/harming 5 gels?(they’re actually cracked)

you can get 2 buffs from potions
use one for buffing self (ie: freezing potions because their attacks have negative synergy towards freezing targets)
use other for harming others (ie: corroding gel because bleed syngergizes with it)

I’d like to see the opponent try to fight back after I use insanity 5 and slowness 5 on them

14-0 for useful ggs

now the question is: what magic should we use with gels?

not even a question…

i mean gels can replicate a lot of magic

its just kinda like, metal magic with corroding or electric… yk, magic synergies already so… all pretty samey, you could get smth like acid, poison mage using burning gel

TEAL lightning

I’m gonna be honest if you are going for gels your best bet is shadow, it’s entire gimmick is lack of a status so adding one makes it significantly better

Bruh :skull:

Fun fact: Soaked potions are not a thing.

tide

Tide gel.

oh
didn’t see that lol

i just thought of something. Imagine using gravity magic and gale gel

Probably those that either sabotage the opponent (ie: blinding) or something that has synergy (ie: sandy gel making your next metal magic attack do 10% more damage)

i’m working on a interaction map
i’ll send it when it’s done
