The Seville Kingdom only existed as it does because, in 685 (AO time), an uprising was led against the Visigothic rules of Hispalis. Most Visigoths fled to what would be modern germany, though some did remain behind as part of the population. 20-30 years prior to the fracture, the city of Hispalis was renamed to Seville.
The Seville Kingdom had a far more difficult time establishing itself, in part due to being viewed as a satellite state of the far more powerful Azura Province. Early survivors of the Fracture that would go on to form the two kingdoms helped one another to survive in the harsh post-fracture conditions, though their cultures were too different to work under a single kingdom (combined with other disagreements between the more powerful survivors). It took them until 1430~ to be a well accepted kingdom, even with the generous donation of a curse by the Azura Province (who had already grown into their closest ally).
Many parts of the Seville Kingdom’s culture were influenced by the Azura Province due to their close relations and early dependence, though some were grown through their own struggles. They were said to have placed a heavy emphasis on “fairness” - primarily supported by the upper classes, many things for the average civilian were different for the sake of fairness. This usually manifested in increased taxes compared to other kingdoms, more public amenities, much higher private housing costs (communal housing was decently common, often holding 4-5 families per home), and policies implemented across the kingdom to try and dissuade any amount of bias.
While poverty wasn’t common, there was a very clear divide between the lower and upper class, with little middle class existing. The easiest path towards any amount of success was through their military, which was well trained and equipped, though lacking mages in comparison to other kingdoms.
The royal guard was usually kept small, with only a select handful - by the end of the kingdom, only five - being given such an honor. Comprised of the best Oracles and Mages that the kingdom had to offer, they were cut off from their past lives and kept on a tight leash by one another, having sworn an oath to protect the king or queen with their lives.
They use the same symbol as the actual city of Seville, though their primary colors are dark orange and a blue-ish silver. At the end of their existence, they possessed only the Poison Curse - obviously, this went horribly for the King when Cazal came about and wiped out the vast majority of the population.

Silas is indeed too stupid to shit, or rather, use the toilet. Whenever he has to shit, he just shits his pants on the spot. The only reason we’ve been able to defeat some of the recent bosses is because the stench dazes them.
One day amnesiac put on one too many items with insanity and everything thats happened so far is just a figment of their imagination.

Silas hides a small but still bitter feeling of resentment over Morden for leaving him alone twice in a row when he needed him the most (Dawn Island and Fort Talos)

Due to the Underworld being sealed, likely by order of Hades after the fall of Olympus, as well as the deaths of Hermes and Thanatos(?), spirits are no longer farried to the banks of the River Styx when they die. Instead they are pulled in a torent of Chaos towards the nearest concentration of Chaotic energy, most often the Dark Sea, but ocasionally they will linger in places where Chaos has been summoned, such as Akursius and Makrinaos. This is a terrible fate as without access to the Lethe they will remember their lives, and feel the agony whilst said memories slowly degrade along with their souls, as the chaotic energy consumes them.
Legacies/Oracles with enough spirit energy upon death, are able to separate their souls from their bodies in a fashion similar to Acheron, allowing them to linger in Sea Clusters, rather than being pulled toward the Dark Sea. Though they still can’t interact with the Mortal world except through specific circumstance, such as finding a place where the viel is thin, or gaining the Patronage of a powerful force, such as one of the gods or even Creation.
The Order’s main goal, along side releasing the powerful entity, is the creation of new Curses, and to that end new gods. Hence the need to acquire Legacies in an attempt to create vessels for the souls of the Olympians.
Astorian is the Lingua Grecia (common language, Grecia instead of Franca due to Greece’s heightened influence) of the Seas, with most of the different kingdoms adopting its alphabet for their languages. This is due to my idea that Astoria was likely a prominent trading power before becoming the Grand Navy, as they had enough influence with the various kingdoms of the War Seas to create the grand treaty, and lock away Nero. Now the reason that them being a mercantile power is important, is that it was trade which brough the Phoenician alphabet to the Mediterranean and thus spinning off into Greek then Latin, so on and so forth. So Astorian became the language of business within the War Seas.
Those who inhabit the Sky Islands are referred to as the Aurai (wind spirits) by those who live in the Sea. Likewise, the polite term for sea dwellers is Chthonian (meaning of Earth or Soil).
Keraxe is a surprisingly culturally tolerant society, similar to the Persian empire. This means that many territories keep their original cultural identity and traditions, even as they pay tribute and are ruled by the Asgard. Given that it is difficult for one man, even a man like Wotan, to rule as much land as he conquers he keeps management mostly up to the locals, and the few military forces he does station within his captured territories. There may have been a time where he was more tyrannical , however, after several rebellions cost him both blood and money, he realized that keeping his subjects happy was far easier than keeping them controlled. (It should be noted this does not make him a good ruler, nor good person. He is still a conquering wretch, and likely has a caste system similar to the one the Vikings had.)
The people of Ravenna are aware and complicit in the extermination of the Winterveilan refugees and their descendants. This world is currently in the equivalent of the 1700s in a world which never had the Enlightenment, nor the Renaissance, heck the Magna Carta never even had time to be written. The average citizen is not going to believe in any form of universal human rights, especially not in a society like the War Seas. They will not care that their enemies are being taken from their homes and put on the gallows, likely, dependant upon how the Caesars portray it, they will celebrate it. Now this is not going to be everyone, likely there will be some dissidents… but there is always more room on the gallows, and there are always enough mages to quell an uprising. Dark, I know, but it would be how the people of this society would realistically act, especially without any widespread literacy or moral philosophy.
