Do you think God souls should only have a use for Oracle awakening or should they have some other use for all builds including Oracle as well
So like Oracle can directly imbue the souls on spirit weapons
While all builds can use it for maybe for a power boost (probably what arcane apotheosis is)
considering we, presumably, get them from the storyline, itd make sense for them to work on other builds imo, maybe at a lesser degree (only minor-ish stat buffs and nothing else?)
it would be fun to have access to them on other build types, but it’d also make oracle feel a bit less special. maybe if hybrids had some restrictions on the soul imbuement like only being able to imbue 1 spirit weapon with a soul while oracles don’t have such restrictions
I’m not really talking about imbuing the souls just onto other thing but something more of a unique and universal ability

technically imbuing souls is a form of summoning them, but I think you’re thinking about like a summon like the crystal ball’s unique move
it might be cool if spirit weapons had like a charge bar that you can fill by hitting other people and at max charge you can summon a soul to boost your next attack
i was thinking more like if you summoned it, it would kind of hover behind you, and when you used its abilities it would auto target whoever you’re hovering and use a rite. i was also thinking it wouldnt be the same size as the summon from the crystal. but i think that would be too over powered plus theres already a spirit summon rite so it would be redundant.
Small passive like the bathing in dragon blood thing for non spirit builds. With the Oracles able to fully capitalize off of it to the maximum efficiency.
i dont see the point, the whole benefit of souls is imbuing. theres no reason non spirit builds should be able to literally imbue spirits into their attacks.

assuming each god soul is tied to the story like how poseidon’s soul was tied to the awakening part, it would kinda suck for big story power ups like RECEIVING THE SOUL OF A GOD to only affect a single class
can u imagine if aa had classes but the theos questline only gave a second magic for mages

We might get second god soul by second awakening or something
maybe… with prays on some statues around the towns or secret places or dark sea
maybe spirit could use other souls from.. uhh… heroes? or villains too, hybrids could use the spirit of those villains/heroes and oracle could use the spirit of gods and villains/heroes

Pretty sure Vetex deconfirmed this at one point. We just have a normal awakening.
My guess is that most god souls will come from very rare and special events or extreme challenges, as with collecting all of Athena’s notes. The story just gave us a freebie with Poseidon so that oracles can have an immediately useful awakening without having to look up on a wiki where to find god souls and do the whole activity.
