Has Vetex lost his passion for AO?

I don’t want AO to fail I just want Roblox to fail

Has vetex regained his passion and AO is the best game of all time with literally no flaws?

No.

i’m surprised this thread is still alive

there is writing on the wall, and some of us are too ignorant to read it

I had a bit of a different solution for some of my games, I would get a off platform service to fill a sheet with data, it’s not directly in Roblox.

As someone who used to be into AO theory speculation, I really just want to see the story finished or atleast more attention paid towards it when it comes to development

That’s an alright solution… I can’t exactly see why choose that over native analytics, but to each their own.

Has vetex lost his passion for adventure story?

Initially, yes.
Now…? Unsure, he had stated he was working on other things on Roblox.

what, so he can turn into omega silas god of hyperdeath?

Yeah, exactly

I came back to the forums for a moment to reply to this.

Honestly, I think part of what’s cause the change in development cycle and game theme is that, now that Vetex isn’t a kid, he thinks he can’t (or feels like he shouldn’t) make a kid’s game anymore. That might be the root of the intense focus on ‘realism’ and ‘immersion’. It might also be the cause of the declining player count, because aside from Roblox crashing and burning, most of the players are kids.

Reading some of the comments on this topic shows how passionate and how much we all want to see AO become something great and be something that succeeds in the end. The writing on the wall is clear, the analytics I’ve seen posted here do say the game is running on life support right now, and I’ll agree that AO right now feels like a ball of broken glass, but I believe AO could do a 180 and turn into something amazing.

Despite the flaws, I think AO is an awesome game with a ton of potential, but it needs a lot of polishing still. Even if AO goes belly-up in the end, so many of us are so passionate about the game that maybe we could pick up the pieces? I believe that, in my heart at least, someone from here will pick up the pieces if AO fails. I want to see AO succeed, I want to see it flourish, and against the odds I’ll hold out the hope that it will.

Even if it fails, this is just the end of a chapter, because the passion I see from you guys tells me the torch will be handed off so that this legend.

Atp I might as well make a steam game that is ao inspired if main game dies.

Only question is do I add WoW graphics or genshin graphics.

arcane adventures wasn’t what I would consider a kids game
it was whimsical, which ao is very not

I think we all miss that whimsy a little, consciously or otherwise

I want to see discord polls Every day.

“Do you want to keep fall damage?”

  • Yes
  • No

And have the team take action on that. The game would be so much better

Vetex is too prone to sunk cost fallacy for this

Everything will be ok guys

Oh will it?
Will the performance be improved?
Will bugs be fixed?
Will development planning be re-organized to prioritize current system as opposed to new bloat?
Will community/tester feedback be more appreciated and thought out when planning?
Will Vetex learn from his mistakes of bringing on basically random people onto the development team without prior thought?

Will my boy arcanium be finalized?

No you’re getting relegated to savant food
