what im getting from all this is that vetex should remove shadow magic and replace it with fire magic

I mean honestly the longer this goes on the less faith I have in the guy.

Not much at all.
At this point the only thing I really expect from vetex is for him to keep working on the game.
That much is sure.
Iāve done what I can for about as long as I can to draw attention to these problems and maybe get them sorted, and from what Iāve seen, most of everyone has my back on that aside from a couple.
Hell, even Meta basically told me he wouldnāt blame me for just giving up.
I cannot emphasize enough how alarmingly bad that is.
yeah I agree with this but another thing we need to focus on is giving vetex time to make quality updates cause we canāt complain an update is extremely bad when we pressured him and rushed him to push it

also he should work on the game itself, lore and story is last priority and every game dev including me knows that. Unpopular opinion but Iād rather he add new wanted features and reworks even if it means holding off the story for months
Come to think of it I used to be one of the biggest vetex meat riders back in 2022, I was even one of the big fans of the nimbus update despite the wipe just due to loyalty of the game.
But then vetex kept ignoring the balance trello and made the infamous discord rant, at that point pvp was the only thing left to do in the game and not seeing him put in the effort that this mochez guy can do in 3 days was just unreal.
Then the class name incident happened and the absolute refusal to patch hecate essence, plus the dumb lore changesā¦ yeah, its clear he doesnt care about the community as much as he takes pride on the new piece of lore he shat out his ass last week
While heās working on the million other changes and balance changes reworks updates new content this guy wants more levels this guy wants more replayability yadayada
but like I said what he can do is just stop focusing on immersion story and fun detail stuff because at the end of the day the actual game is whatās worth working on first
Communicate with the community more (donāt wait until they explode) and focus on important features reworks and game design to keep players entertained. Then he can work on smaller things like immersion and story. Do you think Ultrakill would be good if it had top tier graphics story and immersion but mediocre combat and fun

Vetex just about never communicates with the rest of the community unless its on fire.

Thatās another point I kept making towards the start of this.
Gameplay quality is always more important than lore accuracy.
and for the other argument that āchanging your magic is much more impactful than fighting style or weaponā
yeah same goes for changing from boxing berserker to iron leg berserker
or going from guns to AOE etc
he never even address that
I pinged him in the discord and talked about all this and he wouldnāt even answer.
