now that you mention it, it is strange that we’re getting perfect stats in just the first sea

If we weren’t intended to get perfect skills in the first sea, it may have been a better idea on Vetex’s part if the level on these skills were capped until more seas came out

Bruh no one wants to grind this shit all over again, we just wanna try new builds without having to grind for 30 hours just so our slots feel “complete” :sob:, it’s already easy enough to transfer a jewel from one slot to another anyways

I’m also surprised that some people seem to enjoy grinding those stats and I cant quite put my head on it

Cooking: buy ingredients from vendors and press E on a pot for 3 hours straight. (also, no one uses spices other than sun carraway)

Jewelcrafting: Walk and sail around aimlessly looking for gems, when you actually get 100 of them, you need to do diving, which is the culmination of a bunch of small, unfun features in order to gather auric seaweed. Or you could go to redwake grind copper shrooms (which is also unfun). If you don’t do any of the two, you’ll be mostly stuck with common materials that will give much less xp.

Brewing: Walk around shores and gather seaweed to make t1 water breathing pots, any other method will take much longer to max. (edit: The dark sea actually offers some decent reagents but you still have to gather clams anyways)

Unless vetex makes it VERY easy to grind those stats later on, you’d probably be able to beat the game 10x over before actually getting a perfect stat if you don’t do some tedious grinding sessions.

Also they’re the best, perfect stat because it takes time, you wouldn’t just get everything handed to you, even with natural play. I respect yalls opinion but these are very important factors some if not most of you are not taking into account

Level restrictions would be nicer then or something.

Besides you can transfer gems and have no level req. So really youre still getting perfect gems on smaller accounts

  • really mostly useful on high gear pieces most likely they wont use until endgame bronze

So tbh itd be easier day if transfer was added in or something

I think it could also benefit to have titles like Bronze Sea Explorer already unlocked on other files as well.
Don’t get me wrong exploration the first time around was nice and there was a lot to see. But doing it 2 extra times? For a badge I already have???

As much as I’d understand some reasons as to why titles/cooking/brewing/jewelcrafting xp doesn’t save between all your files, it’s really damn annoying grinding for stuff like that again, and is a huge reason why I don’t play on any files now except for my main one.

(Adding onto this before someone points it out of course reputation titles shouldn’t transfer. That is a given.)
