Hey guys, need some help

As of right now we are in a tumultuous time.

Even though I am not an American citizen, what is happening in America will affect me one way or another. If America falters in anyway I will be screwed. But, change is still inevitable. One can only hope

Said literally no country from the Middle East

Atleast 60% are just edgy ass teenagers, 20-35% actual racists, 5-20% FBI agents are in that site. Besides /pol/ and /b/ are actual shitholes

I actually like to imagine it’s just the FBI going insane, even more of a reason

I agree that it’s unlikely that we’ll start a genocide of immigrants or anyone. However, I do feel that the state is displaying similar trends to that of Nazi Germany. For one, the bringing in of incompetent yes-men and yes-women to positions of power. This has happened in other administrations, yes, but not to this scale. Our Secretary of Health spouts disproven pseudoscience on the regular. Our Secretary of Defense was kicked out of the National Guard. Our president says he runs the country like a business, but had his own business bailed out by his father multiple times.

These people were not brought in for their expertise, or even for this discretion. They were brought in to nod along and say yes.

In addition, our government is currently playing lap dog to billionaires, even allowing one to infiltrate the government to his own ends. My own father works in the government, and has said that Musk’s axing was not done in a skillful nor wise manner. It was done as a quick, thoughtless ā€œsolutionā€ to a problem that required knowledge to fix.

This isn’t even to mention the sheer arrogance of our negotiations with other nations. Our antagonism is making enemies of our neighboring countries—namely Canada and Mexico. Along with souring our relationships with Europe. Let me be clear: the US will suffer from these actions. It’s a fundamental rule of economics that the freer trade is, the better off we are, with few exceptions.

So yes, the rampant incompetence is very similar to that of Nazi Germany. As is the aggression to our neighbors. Along with the pettiness. We are on a bad path.

How the HELL has this one game provided this many government leaks??? It’s actually astounding.

Gaijin claims they give realistic vehicular combat, the gamers will give them government secrets to make it happen

Either that, or its actually the greatest intelligence operations ever devised

His cabinet: Conspiracy theorist as the head of the FBI, another conspiracy theorist and vaccine denier as the SECRETARY OF HEALTH!?!? WONDER WHAT GOT RID OF SMALLPOX?!?!? Accused ā€œoffenderā€ as the Chief of Defense, some yes women and the fact he wants to run the government like a business (look how that turned out for you bub) is an actual concotion for madness. We are living in a south park episode istg.

The entire world is always having problems. The world going to shit is nothing new. It’s been going to shit since the big bang. The specific ways that it has been going to shit change, but the shitiness level is not increasing.

I legit fume at the fact an anti-vaxxer of all people is the secretary of health

Like at this point, just dismantle the department of health

Secretary of Health of the United States, aka, the #1 (debatable) country in the world (in certain terms) vaccines have literally saved an incalculable amount of lives, smallpox killed about 250-500 million of the world population, and he is the head of it? They axed medi-care too, people would rather run than go to hospitals in the U.S. At this rate they may as well say that antibiotics cause schizophrenia, Bullshit.

Like sure, the guy has one half-decent health initiative but the fact he is actively hampering other important initiatives is just appaling

ā€œImportantā€ Essential*

Exactly (I am going to sleep, I don’t want to be in the loop no more)

Can’t blame you, tired here too.

Easy, the tanks and airplanes aren’t realistic enough.

I think the biggest thing done was the cutting of yes-men and yes-women that aligned with the other party. A lot of the supposed organizations funding soft power, most of that money was never seen by the countries they were supposed to send it to. So logic dictates it must’ve gotten embezzled, and ever since major organizations like USAID were cut, the Democratic party has had a funding problem. Could be coincidental though, because the last presidential election somehow wasted 2 billion (actually went over budget), and they lost.

RFK Jr ideally has people keeping him in check. Not everyone is going to agree with him, and he doesn’t have absolute power. Our Secretary of Defense was kicked out because of his tattoo under the Biden administration due to ā€œconcernsā€ about his Deus Vult tattoo. Military recruitment has skyrocketed since he got in, which is a good thing in that regard.

This applies to a lot of people, a lot more than you’d think too. Don’t think for a second the same wasn’t true for the previous or prior administrations.

Elon has distances from the administration, and said he was going to create a new party today if the BBB gets passed. Maybe it was thoughtless, but it also depends, because some of the ā€œthoughtlessā€ cuts such as money being sent to other countries never left Washington. So what soft power would that generate? Soft power’s also a dumb term, it just means we’re a countries piggy bank with the way it’s handled in most cases.

The United States holds a tremendous amount of weight in these negotiations due to us being the ā€œGreat Consumerā€. Without us, a gargantuan portion of many major economies is lost. Why shouldn’t we leverage it? As for Canada and Mexico…

Canada’s current PM ran on being anti-Trump. There’s no surprise there, but Canada’s more screwed over than you realize. You think it’s bad here in the US? If you can barely survive here, you’re not surviving in the Canadian economy. It’s only a matter of time before they collapse.

Mexico, despite being a 1st generation, I can’t say I’m proud of that country. It’s run by cartels, and they refuse to let the US help. More recently their president has been promoting the riots in LA, and suggesting taking back California. I question to say they were ever our ally, because a significant portion of the money they generate is from illegal immigrants over here sending money back to Mexico. I hope they come to their senses, because I’d like to see the cartels gone (most of our issues with them comes from them anyways).

That’s what the whole tariff situation was about (freeing up trade). Although, you can say souring relationships all you want, but the fact of the matter is this. They need us more, than we need them. We’re not the one’s with Russia at our doorstep, and we’re not the ones who’ve been slacking on our military spending for the past decades. So of course, one of the questions asked to the Secretary General of NATO was this: is the US still with us? Because the day the US is gone, the EU is going to have to pick up the void filled by the US, and it’s going to be a massive one considering it takes every country in the EU just to not even match the US economy in size (US: 30 trillion vs EU 19.9 trillion).

Don’t act like he’s a failed businessman now. He’s had his failures, but he’s 70+ now, and his businesses are still going strong. He’s a billionaire, while his father was a millionaire (adjusted to the dollar value within the past 5 years).

Also, the government IS a business, in a way at least. If it runs out of money, it collapses, and like any other business will have to declare bankruptcy. I’d much rather have a businessman run the country’s finances than a career politician. Especially since Trump’s pretty liberal for a conservative, but politics has gone to the extremes for so long that people don’t know what the center is anymore. Do you know who championed the same policies as Trump? The Democrats a couple decades ago, before we offshored our manufacturing. Hell, even Oligarch Bernie wanted Tariffs to protect the middle class. Trump’s the only one willing to do it, and he had the same political viewpoints he did in that era, so he’s at least consistent.

Dang I typed an essay.
Also the last point was more so a few decades ago, I forget how old the people in office are.

None of us would be able to focus lol

no I’m not sad. I acknowledge that there’s some pretty terrible stuff in the world but its beyond my control so I don’t stress about it.

Plus im already focused on my on worries, myself and my people.
