Hidden Diving Points

I don’t know if many people know about these “Hidden Diving Points”
which show no bubbles on the surface and are pretty much on the seafloor.

They contain huge amounts of loot but from what i know myself they always have obolus guarding them.

I think you are two updates late with this topic. These hidden spots were discovered in first week of the update they were released, thanks to obolus’s lure rod that is seen kilometres away

Yeah, I do realize that the update came out a long time ago,
but i was curious about them nontheless.

I was about to say these were diving structures, but that doesn’t quite look like one I’ve seen. Pretty cool find, I can vaguely remember one topic mention these as “obulus nests” but it’s otherwise pretty obscure.

It’s not really a set spot on the map, but not a lot of people know about Obolus nests.

Whenever you find an obolus idling underwater, remember where they were before you get it’s agro, because there’s an unmarked (no circle with bubbles above it) diving spot with 5 sealed chests directly under it! It doesn’t despawn, so if you remember where it is, you can come back every 5-10 minutes and they’ll regenerate!
I’m unsure if/how often the obolus respawns there, but usually you can just get another free 5 sealed chests without much effort whenever you come back.

Randomized per server, but diving spots do appear to spawn in specific areas made for them. Mostly, they’re along what I’d call the “trade routes” between islands - such as a straightshot from the Shining Plains coast to Wind-Row, or going from Sailor’s Lodge/Fort Talos to Silverhold.
Now, the types that spawn? Those are fully randomized.
