I see people arguing about whether Nightmare King Grimm or The Radiance is the hardest boss in Hollow Knight. What do you all think?

its a dream boss
but its radiant mode in godhome

The Radiance is baby stuff next to NKG’s difficulty imo. In The Radiance fight, you get a ton of opportunities to heal. Meanwhile, NKG is absolutely relentless.

I’ve been spoiled enough to say it would be likely Nightmare King Grimm and his cigarette-box voice.
He inflicts multiple masks of damage (can’t remember much about Radiance in terms of damage) on top of little breathing room to heal.
NKG is ez due to his attack patter, for me he slightly more diffcult than Hollow Knight.
The Radiance is hard due to the fact that it deals 2 mask of damage and you just basicly cant understand “when should i attakc?”
NKG does 2masks damage as well though

False Knight too hard tbh they gotta nerf that boss

ok honestly, it was hard to beat regular king grimm
i only tried like 6 times on nightmare b4 giving up on the dlc entirely.
Radiance is overrated, wasn’t that bad at all.
even if we are talking about radiance in the god-dlc or whatever, it is still not nearly as difficult as nightmare grimm.
NKG is harder for normal bosses, for GodHome absolute radiance will make you cry back to normal radiance. Then there is also the Pure Vessel and Grey Prince Zote who are also difficult.
