How do arbitrary curses work?

So as you all know there’s curses like Lazarus curse and absorption curses where it’s based on arbitrary origins that we have no evidence of existing and are purely folklore. How do these curses work in terms of physical weapons trying to hurt them? Will they just absorb the attack or something? Like I get with fire curse and magma curse you can simply turn the part of your body about to be hit into fire or magma but what the hell is Lazarus supposed to do? Take it? Reflect it?

Its j a special paramecia bro

They work just like any other weapon would. Elemental curses do not grant immunity to physical harm because they are curses, but because they are elemental curses.

Lazarus would probably take it and become stronger, the rest (elemental) seem like they could just take any attack with the fact that they can turn stuff to magic to avoid it

For the absorption curse, probably would still hurt because it’s not elemental

Arbitrary or External Curses doesn’t give you the normal intangibility like Elemental ones so you’d get hurt by physical attacks such as swords and guns

as people said: elemental curses dodge weapons and shit because you can’t hurt fucking fire with a sword slash, you can hurt someone who can just revive every 5 min with a sword

unless that person is freedrock, who will radius stomp your head so hard that the island you’re on shatters before you get the chance.
