I just got into a desperate attempts of survival against other players, can anyone please give me some tips on how to win? 
step 1: turn off pvp

Some emperor of the sea hunted down my 200k
step 2: try to cope
He is uncapable of basic human communication so it wouldn’t work

Other than turning off PvP?
- Make a PvP-viable gear build. Obviously, Sunken stuff is the be-all, end-all, but if you can’t reasonably get that, look for modified stuff; Modified Arcanium is peak, followed by Fighting and Oracle/Alitheia stuff. If you’re a Warrior, I’d say Modified Titanium Armor can suffice. There’s a new Gear Builder site that you can use for making a build, but it’s not entirely up-to-date yet, lacking a lot of the new gear sets and retaining Agility + Attack Speed.

GRIND. JEWELCRAFTING. Since jewels can now be fused, you can get a lot more stats out of one Jewel Socket, which means your overall Gear Stat total can be much higher. Speaking of Jewelcrafting, I’d try going for Energy Efficiency Jewels first, while slowly swapping some of them out for +2.5% Blocking Power Jewels as you acquire them. Not sure if Combined Jewels can combine their Secondary Effects beyond their Single Jewel limits (i.e. two +2.5% BP Jewels becoming one +5% BP Jewel), but if they can, go for that.

For PvP itself, your strategy will depend somewhat on what gear stats you end up with. A good general strat typically involves popping Aura/Enchantment, Focus/Whatever-The-Strength-Lost-Equivalent-Is, or similar Weapon Skills/Relic Rites as soon as you can, to give yourself extra power for as long as possible.
tl;dr? A lot of what goes into PvP is dependent on gear builds.

okay so
step 1: hit your enemy
step 2: don’t get hit by your enemy
if you just use these 2 simple steps, you should easily be able to defeat anyone
if you’re a mage then:
Blast! Beam! Placed Explosion!
if you’re a berserker then:
Crash! Smash! Shot!
i know this is a joke but unironically i think it can be simplified to this
the pvp doesn’t have crazy depth to it
know your moveset
have good aim
know how to parry
and you’ll be good
(or at least better than like every casual player lmao, i think the experience gap between you and autonomys is way too high)
The thing is I play since WoM turned into AO but then yeah, it might be a new account
just playing pve won’t teach you anything about pvp cus the npc ai is so bad it doesn’t teach any good pvp habits
