Having 2 rare magics while other magic hybrids only get 1 is still advantageous.
Keep in mind beserkers will also likely have a similar system due to fighting style evolutions and warriors will never get more than 3 weapons, so this isn’t an extreme paradigm shift
you sure? 5 magics with 40 different spells each with lost spells and who knows what other random things. Memorizing where you keep blast, beam, jump, and explosion spells let alone all the other lost spells will be very easy.
Any competent mage alreadying knowing that good chunk of his spells would be a utlitiy ones, and the larger pool of magic will be good against different type of enemies and in different situation:
you say that as if mages wont have an insane amount of versatility and zoning capabilities. If you seriously think vetex is gonna let pure mage be bad youre out of your mind
Wait, I though they would only get 1?? Thats why cause thats was the unique thing about mages and that was the thing i though they took away. If one base magic dissaperes, it doesnt matter at all
Seems more fair since the other classes can only have like 3 weaponds/fightingstyles etc. The only thing Im wondering about is that if warriors will be abel to equip 3 lost/legendary weapons at the same time? Cause that would be unfair cause mages will prob not be abel to easily swap magics like warriors will
Yeah that’s something I wonder too. There are probably a couple ideas that could balance it, there’s not really any way to tell how Vet will go about it yet though cause of how far away they are
I feel like you should be able to replace your first magic too since it makes warlocks with 1 magic and 2 fighting styles incapable of having lost or ancient magics
That would mean making charging effects and changing stuff like the color of the energy bar which is attached to the player, and while I don’t see that as a problem, it’s something vetex would have to do
