How exactly do curses work?

2010 Roblox was a dark time for proper RPG drip

Because he’s at the point where armour and weapons are useless.
His skill and power are unmatched to the point where he doesn’t need them.

You’re saying he can just use weak weapon M1s and smite everyone?

yes

use an instrument to substitute a hand

How does it not absorb through it.

Why would it? Should a curse be absorbed if someone is within the general vicinity of it since the individual & the curse are both touching the ground?

It’s probably because objects don’t have magic energy, so curses can’t form a reaction to fuse with it.

because not all magic energy is the same, if you were a water magic user and absorbed the fire curse for example, it would be as if water magic is clashing with fire magic because your entire body IS fire magic, and it would cause you immense pain to try to use water magic afterwards. It works the same way with other magic types, because the curse is a specific type of energy it will reject any other type of energy

surely this doesnt mean the one from the webtoon

kingdoms use a kind of arcanium metal net to transport them around, and because its arcanium it kind of rejects the sea curse allowing it to push the curse around

no it wouldn’t, the curse would shoot out of their body and land somewhere else. Curses aren’t so fickle as to be completely snuffed out just because there is another type of energy surrounding them, they are literally a magic in its pure form and objects created by the gods, itd be a joke if some magic energy filled water would snuff them out forever

vulnerability to water isn’t a thing, curse users die in the sea because the sea is polluted with immense amounts of magic energy since durza’s attack split the world into islands, which conflicts with the magic of the curse user and tears them apart

would a triple shadow user instantly explode if they absorb the light curse and then try to use their shadow magic later on?

yes :skull:

Is there some sort of counter to curses, are they fundamentally different enough from magic as to adhere to different rules and properties?

I mean of course there’s the sea water counter, and then to actually damage them you need to use magic in some way.
