How exactly do curses work?

kingdoms use a kind of arcanium metal net to transport them around, and because its arcanium it kind of rejects the sea curse allowing it to push the curse around

no it wouldn’t, the curse would shoot out of their body and land somewhere else. Curses aren’t so fickle as to be completely snuffed out just because there is another type of energy surrounding them, they are literally a magic in its pure form and objects created by the gods, itd be a joke if some magic energy filled water would snuff them out forever

vulnerability to water isn’t a thing, curse users die in the sea because the sea is polluted with immense amounts of magic energy since durza’s attack split the world into islands, which conflicts with the magic of the curse user and tears them apart

would a triple shadow user instantly explode if they absorb the light curse and then try to use their shadow magic later on?

yes :skull:

Is there some sort of counter to curses, are they fundamentally different enough from magic as to adhere to different rules and properties?

I mean of course there’s the sea water counter, and then to actually damage them you need to use magic in some way.
