we’ve found an omen twice, but both times we just get slapped and the ship sinks and we die
the second time we found a volcano near it and tires to hit it from a distance, but it was too far to hit the tentacles, so when we tried to draw it in we got merked

what builds are you using
warlord and warrior
from what ive heard the only real way to beat it is just from cheesing it by standing on a nearby island, but youd probably need to invest in a range build or use a mage file to make it easier
dagger throw works.
just keep throwing small knives at the mountain until it dies.
dont listen to this guy, warrior is literally the best build for this.
make sure that you are using a dagger, spear and bow with ardent enchant. to cheese it find a volcano or nearby island that you can sit on, im pretty sure a volcano is guaranteed to spawn by an omen btw
Omen is a boss that you can genuinely only beat by cheesing it, and I don’t know why it was added.
It was an omen of the course that the game was about to take
Same reason the end game dragons were. Vetex thought they were cool I guess and didn’t intend us to beat them despite adding them

remember when vetex said the reason why dragons took so long was that he wanted the mythic dragons and apophis fights to feel “grand” even though apophis is the only one with a unique move that barely even works :troll :

Mage is the worst build to use for the omen, pretty much equally as bad as beserker. Weapon builds are miles above the rest for this purpose

also, won’t I die in one hit when first encountering the omen?
use ballfist if youre berserker and spam. you only have to bring its health down to 80k or 40k i believe
go go gadget beast defense OR pray to god it bugs and can only hit your ship
