Huge problem with relic obtainment

Can you please re-read this topic

no because I already disagreed. i don’t wanna do it again

10k for a tidestone band is a crime btw, I have like 4 rn and I would have given them out for free cuz it’s mad easy to get on max accounts :skull:

Idk what you expected, This is a game made by someone obsessed with everything in-game being as close to the lore as possible if it means to sacrifice game feel.

Obviously a rare form of combat would have the rarest items to obtain!!! learn classational awareness before raging like a baby easy ban!!!

Thou seriously of all the issues in the game I’ve already gotten used to ignoring the progression ones. I advice giving up on any change expectations cuz it won’t happen.

If every class had the same obtainment methods as each other, then all the builds would feel the same.
The lore is made for the sake of the game, hence why enchantment magic exists. The sake of the game in this case is so that the builds aren’t just different visuals for the same deal.

I agree but his problem is the difficulty rather then the method, while on max level accounts you wouldn’t find any of theses as issues you will quickly find them annoying on regular progression which is what he’s tryna bring up.

I mean compare randomly getting a old weapon you could use and having to hunt a balanced mini-boss but impossibly hard to find ship that could be anywhere in the bronze sea while you are sailing a sailboat / caravel that easily takes damage and needs repairs while you need to conserve galleons as much as possible.

And the speed of ships is extremely bad early game that exploring is VERY BORING early game until you get a ketch or brig.

Laelus is a lightweight from the very beginning, and after you have his relic then you can consider yourself set until you’re overlevelled enough to beat Dusk or The Crone until they drop their thing.

A new player might struggle with that, but a new player probably isn’t gonna go for Spirit after going the entire game without getting a single nother relic.

I do agree that people probably wouldn’t go for spirit anyways, I still don’t think it’s entirely correct to just wrap laelus as easy cuz finding him is the real issue for newer players.

Either way in the grand scheme of things I’d dust this issue below the carpet, It’s still too minor imo.

hey i can sell u the orb

I don’t think he even has a ship variant, so he’s always gonna be on an island, and his bounty note is always gonna say he’s on an island. As long as the game isn’t broken, he’ll be there.
only problem I have with that is that even on a second playthrough you still might not know which particular NPCs will have relics.

Oh you’re a bit late, I got that yesterday

He does, once sank his ship near the top half of the map above the northern jaws after mistaking his ship for Dusks in the distance

Anyways i’m still praying on Dusks downfall, i finally managed to get a single drop but it was the mask and not that Relic

Honestly, it would not be an issue if the drop rate for the relics specifically were 1/1 like the Tidestone Band, EVEN 1/2. And they should also not be sailing so much?? Like, make it so 80% of the time they spawn at islands, not the sea on a SAILBOAT??? how is that even supposed to display their attacks well

Stocksounds why are your opinions on things always so rubbish

First it was modifiers and now its this

I don’t like modifiers, for stat building they are a big huge burden, but I do like charting.

and yeah relic progression is good. some people don’t want their whole build handed to them

I’ve grinded 30 Delamere’s with luck 3 and have yet to get the orb once. I need this for 3 files; somebody kill me.

his ship is a fuck ass sailboat wiith like no armor :sob:

People won’t trade it for shit either

Vetex and in-between’s

I swear the entire auction on Relics is suspiciously empty. Like christ, the first two days we couldn’t even sell them, now nobody and their spirits are selling them— He really nailed the ā€œhard to findā€ lore for these damned things.
