if you just play the game more you’ll eventually get better at fighting high level npcs you just have to give it time
so yeah it may aswell be a “skill issue” but i feel as if thats a bit rude to say

just grind galleons and use the auction
I’ve gotten 2 sunkens and most of my gear just doing that

believe it or not most casual players will find fighting an npc almost double their level to be challenging

level 240 npcs are definitely too strong. I can only ever beat them by cheesing them from afar. Also it’s really dumb that your rival stays level 240 even when you’re in the bronze sea.
People nowadays will see a child and expect them to know everything that they do despite being twice their age

I think even top tier players probably find a 900 damage aimbotted piercing shot or something kind of ridiculous
