Honestly, It’s fine to ask vetex questions within that time-span, I doubt you’d actually get punished. I’ve seen a lot of forumers ping vetex via reply but haven’t ever gotten punished, though I’m pretty sure he only checks the forums from time to time. There is a possibility you won’t get a reply back
That rule is just for annoying people pinging him for no reason, you can reply to him just fine.
Vetex may act like a dictator at times but he’s not some drunken wife beater that will torture you if you gaze in his general direction, that rule is just in place for the idiots that thinks it’s okay to ping him for no reason

flare if you think thats an achievement i beat calvus with 300 ping 20 fps no armor at level 75 with WIND
it took me 10 tries when i usually always win without dipping below 85% hp
if your wondering whats bad about that is at level 75 using no armor literally everything (even strength) can out dps wind absurdly easily by no fault of winds knockback
nah fight him at level 75 no armor with only dagger m1s while laggy
though tbf I found the ping to be helpful or was it the lag, because during my run with him on high ping, it actually slowed his casting-time/projecitle speed as long as it was solo
for some reason doing calvus on low ping makes him discombobulate me
It may slow down his attacks but then in the second phase high ping makes him cast multiple attacks at the same time
strange cuz this never happened for me, it’s still like the normal calvus fight just laggy
usually that only occurs at like 600 - 800 ping
ik one of his attacks actually gets delayed for about 2 - 3 seconds, he only move-stacks if theres another person. Also the ping actually doesn’t affect the dagger m1’s that much due to how high the attack-speed of daggers are (FPS is actually worse than the ping due to calvus becoming a stuttering mess which could make attacks look like they’re being casted multiple times)
Oh, well I already deleted my reply to him, so if I make a new one I worry it may fall under the line of spamming. I ain’t pushing my luck. I’ll just wait until a day or two has pass before I make a new one.
If you were here since AO’s release you would realize that the level cap for npcs was increased BECAUSE people found them too easy
The max level cap for npcs in the bronze sea was 130 initially, but was increased to 160 after people complained about the lack of difficulty
i thought it was due to the dark sea gear
i thought it was cuz people said that lvl 130 npcs were too easy
either way though there’s a reason why their level caps are higher
