already quit around the time mistral or nimbus dropped i can’t remember. game went to shit long before this.
you know maybe its not intended to be that way anymore if vetex is adding a pvp toggle (idk the context)
a ocean based world with ships where my character can get a bounty, but being a pirate is not “intended”
think smarter not harder

pirate other pvp players; why is every pvper over complicating this; you’ve got every other target in the game and can easily be put into servers where there will always be targets.
Anybody on LB → Huntable
Anybody with over 300k Fame/Bounty → Huntable
Anybody in a clan → Huntable
Anybody else with the toggle off → Huntable
and again, this isn’t the final version of the solution, Vetex will still be adding things to balance this out.
If PvP was soo intrinsic to the game, then these limitations to the toggle should provide you with enough people playing as “intended”.
But seriously, its an online game, the only real point is to ensure every player has fun at all times equally. If you have fun fighting people, do so with others who also enjoy that. The only reason to complain is if your fun came from being an asshole to others.

“my opinion is the only correct one, if you dont agree leave.” just because i’ve quit for now doesnt mean i won’t return for full release, like many people will. PvP toggle will remove an element of the game that although rare to happen, was one I found fun. I have every right to dislike it like you have the right to like it.
I dislike the PvP toggle because it will effectively remove that avenue of overworld PvP. I Also dislike it because as someone who was a clanless solo ganker, I will have to first sift through probably the worst server list UI I have ever seen in a game to find a clan server thats in my region, then have to fight against number disadvantages in a game with very little boss raiding capabilities (with no more rewards than finding a solo gank, since only one poster can be taken with a 5 minute cooldown)

people say the “pvpers are toxic” yet you act like this. the sealed chest system was directly inspired the chest system in sea of thieves (https://trello.com/c/I5Tx7oHh/37-inspirations-and-credits) which also features chests and loot gained through pve which then can be fought over by players in pvp. it’s not being an asshole its playing the game in a way its designed to be played lol.

On the note of intended gameplay, if it was intended it wouldn’t be getting patched out, dumbass.
I have nothing against PvPers and their leaderboards, especially now that I’ll be able to fully seperate myself from it.
You, however, are a different case.
You willingly, consciously, and intentionally go after players who have grinded for hours just to take that away from them for fun.
I do not believe I was subtle or left any room for interpretation for the response you’d get.
and why dont you have any respect for me, because i have a different opinion? If saying I enjoyed a part of the game that has been around for almost two years is enough for that you need to mature a bit. obviously its not intended anymore because it is being patched out. Unlike going to sailor’s lodge and spawning camping low levels, which gives no reward and is a genuine asshole move, ganking these ships had an incentive through the sealed chests.
