absolutely, but this started as a good faith attempt at debate, and the fact that it’s now devolved into trolling shouldn’t be framed as a validation of the people who called it bait at the very beginning, or the people who were uncivil because they thought it was bait. Now it’s true, but it was a self fulfilling prophecy

Pointing out how some of you fall for bait and clearly get emotional over something that quite literally won’t be a problem in the next update isn’t dishonest nor is it missing the point.

If you take this Roblox game enough seriously to fall for literally any kind of bait imaginable that’s on you I guess. The issue itself is already fixed so why give these people the engagement they’ll no longer have? It’s fine that your passionate or whatever but come on.

I’ve distrusted the forum mob’s bait senses ever since I made a thread saying that a few people who lost their items to a bug getting their items restored would be better than no one getting their items restored and they called it bait

The reason they thought you were baiting there is because they thought you thought restores should be given out in limited quantity on a raffle.

No, it wasn’t in good faith. Through this person’s posts ever since their joining, it’s clear that they only ever came to incite argument and be toxic.

Their first post was on this subject directly bashing it, as the toggle would rid the game of players like them. Terms such as “baby realm”, “12 year old blox fruit ‘players’ with 0 skill”, and "useless casuals nobody cares about " seem extremely inflammatory for a good faith debate. They also portray themselves (and PvPers as a whole) as the “real players”, despite the fact this is false. While they may partially keep the game from dying between updates (some PvErs also stick with it to an absurd amount and new players always flow in), the lifeblood of the game is the story and PvE.
Furthermore, Aphotic is the lowest of the low, a freshie ganker. I don’t believe it’s possible for them to, in good faith, debate about an issue that would erase their kind from the game. The idea was heavily flawed, even ignoring the blatant bias and hatred from casuals that was spilling out of the post. The same could be said for trying to apply math to emotions and enjoyment. You can’t exactly quantify emotions the same way you can player kills.
This tells you all you need to know about this scum, honestly. They dislike fair fights, hold a decently-sized hatred towards the casual/PvE playerbase, are moderately (or extremely) sadistic, and likely see themselves as above others. They’re the worst part of this community, which the PvP toggle would eliminate. Thus, they vigorously oppose it in a futile attempt to have the change not go through. Once they fully realize that, they gank as much as they can and attempt to make themselves feel as if they’re above others, despite the obvious fact that they’re falling from their pillar of bones into the abyss below. Come full release, their kind will be left rotting in history, where they should remain.
Please note I’m ASSUMING you’re referring to aphotic. If not, please disregard this entire post.

I’m hating on the PvP toggle because it’ll force me to lose my hard-earned faction base and just leave the faction, and for no reason at all.
