where’s the kitsune part of the character
because this is just someone in bathrobes
chief… the only mildly Japanese thing here is the waist belt.
I’m no expert but I think I know when I’m being gaslit into thinking there’s something deeper to this design
Fox like yellow eyes, pointed ears, claw like accessories.
Considering a lot of Kitsunes in folk lore disguise themselves as normal, pretty women. This checks out.

They could’ve like… added a mask or maybe some more obvious patterns on her suit…
and the ears thing was only noticeable when someone pointed it out to me

When the point is that this is meant to disguise themselves more as vaguely human, I don’t think that’s necessary, especially when there already exists drawings that show her in her other forms.

I understand the folklore is that they disguise themselves but if you’re trying to convey the fact they’re based on mythos then you’d think there’d be more emphasis on maybe like more traditional looking japanese attire or something and not just some random belt over a tux.
you know what out of spite I’m going to redesign this when I get home I will not deal with this passive aggressiveness
