Any of you have that kind of experience with people trying to trade that somehow don’t understand the concept of trading?
people that think item sell value = real value
or those that dont care about supply and demand (aka: bro i know you dont want this bucket of paint but its way more worth than these 3 carrots that i want from you, dude why are you saying no youre cancelling a good transaction)
traders forgetting the people they are trading with are actually conscious and have preferences towards certain items which makes them unlikely to give them away
this is probably the reasoning behind every (fair) headless trade being declined cause even if you give them 5000 seasonals the headless has more value for most people who have it than its actual worth
but people dont realize that and probably dont want to either because they want that headless
i would decline many trades which offered seasonals for my sunkens, even if technically the value of the seasonals offered match the value of the sunkens
but for someone else who values seasonals, they will accept it
i imagine most headless owners have a personal attachment to their headless, maybe they use it for their drip, or like having many headlesses, its not always about straight value and people gotta understand it

But the main thing I was going for was how basically here, everywhere, and even trade hangout, people are very pushy well past the cardinal sin of trading: refusing to accept “no” for an answer.
This reminds me of another obscure game I used to play that the people there were so worm-brained that they thought that begging me for something relentlessly somehow made their chances any better. They were begging for items that their entire inventories couldn’t afford.
I can only hope roblox at least gives the chance to teach kids that if they want people to consider what they have to say, they would have to at least be sympathetic to the person…
This is me, mainly with the halloween 2020 and the easter 2023, some people tried trading me for seasonals i already had (aka wanted seasonals i already had) yet i still declined, i made a promise to myself that i would never trade halloween 2020 seasonals

I hate it when they do this and then start picking apart your offer and say either that you are overpaying (they say this and don’t have the item) or if you took their unrelated trade you could just trade what you get from them for what you want.
Like I’m overpaying because I can’t find anyone with the item. I’m aware I’m overpaying, that’s the point of overpaying.

For real… Some people somehow don’t seem to get that when someone is overpaying for something, they want that something and not some pile of stuff “worth about as much as that something” on a thread/forum/ect that you are specifying that you ONLY want that something… And they still try to offer you something else.
Sure, THEY want your something, and that is all that matters to those kinds of people sigh.

i’ll never understand how people can misunderstand “i want this thing specifically and thats why im asking for it”. It’s not even misunderstanding actually it’s just straight up flying over their head, that or they ignore it completely as if that’ll help them in any way
When im ingame and someone keeps sending me trash offers and doesnt take a no for an anwser I just check their poster to see where they at and personally ask them to stop. Works everytime
