You should most definitely claim islands that are advantageous to you or far away from the others. (or simply put an island not worth claiming)

Your in a clan so it’s not really rare to see people hounding on those they think they can’t fight back.

I’ve only encountered a witch hunt against my clan (which only consists of me) but I prevailed in a week because my vantage point was at Dark Pine Isle. (I am a size mage and the island we fought on is small)
