fellow Dame Caesennia fan…
there are four paths:
shovel scroll
fishing rod scroll
weapons scrolls (only on non-weapons files)
and resistance/regen scrolls
a side quest which is just the mc and ruby hanging out
I’ve always wanted to fly hence, aside from a tool or vehicle that could make me fly why not add a quest where the mages after awakening will seek a scroll that contains an instruction on how to fly. Ofcs vetex would not let that happen coz the usage of ships will decrease.
This one!
Reworking Enizor’s questline to be better!
That’s basically the hero/villain storyline from WoM. It was… pretty good, only the bosses though, the rest was a bandit beater and finding enemies was a paaaaaain.
Infinite Empress Nilah fetch quests so I can get more dialogue
hi momma dragon alt
I’d like something more mechanically interesting. First idea that comes to mind is needing to freeze one object, electrify another, and set a third on fire, all at the same time. So, you would need to either get friends or get potions. Things like that, that require some more outside the box thinking.
So I wanna take into account some questlines that I would find nice to do AND that can be needed in the story/little details for retracing some islands in late-game. Just for the funsies or extra money while you stumble upon them while doing cargo.
Date Night Odyssey
Unlocked at Level 15
You see a troubled young man sitting in The Red Fin at Redwake. You walk up and talk to him. He tells you about the fact he’s meeting the girl he likes tonight, but isn’t sure on what to say or do, he’s extremely nervous.
You can either respond with “I think I may be able to help” / “I feel you, man…” / “Good luck with that”. First one the guy gets encouraged and asks you for help, in the second one the guy hesitantly asks you for help, in the third one it’s just a Goodbye option.
Upon accepting the quest, he asks how you can possibly help him. You go to Estrid for any ideas and she gets excited at the prospect of a warm love story brewing in her tavern, saying you can pose as “newly hired staff”, and will “dress you up for the job”, telling you to change in one of the rooms upstairs, forcing you into a waiter outfit for the remainder of the quest (similar to how you’re in rags at the beginning of the game, or wearing the patch on your head after General Julian).
While you were changing, the girl arrives and hijinks ensues.
Whenever you talk to the guy to progress the quest, it’s because he’s getting nervous or has a blank mind, to which you’ll have to slip in a line for him to say, getting different dialogue from her in response.
Then they order some food, he orders some seafood (so any sea creature you can use in a meal will be required) and she wants a mushroom stew (so any mushrooms you can use in a meal will be required). If you talk to Estrid during this part of the quest, she’ll recommend going with Manni for ingredients unless you have your own, same as using Asfrith’s pot.
After that, you occasionally give him tips on what to say again, until they finish their meal and ask for any type of pie, again, to your choosing. They pay and he seems pleased with how things turned out, until she breaks the illusion and tells him she could literally see you whispering to him the entire time. He apologizes profusely because he thinks he’s not good enough the way he is, but she says she accepted to come BECAUSE of the way he is, and would rather awkwardly work their way through their first date together instead of him not being himself, as she’d rather work through things slowly.
After that, she suggests they continue their date on the docks, on their own this time. He is confused for a second but quickly accepts eagerly, and says he’ll be right there as she steps out The Red Fin. He thanks you for your help and gives you a Citrine, saying he was going to give it to her tonight, but he’d like to wait until later to give her something later, once they know each other better.
Quest ends and if you talk to Estrid afterwards, she’ll say “You have quite a way with words, if you ever do some more matchmaking… or plan on getting yourself into the mix, tell me! I know some people that might be interested…”
And that’s it, I need to leave school right now, might make some more when I get home.
Gary.
A perfect replication of Who Shot Johnny Joestar in the form of a NV style quest.
i think a boss rush type of quest would be neat, maybe like the duel quests we already have but immediately one after another with little to no downtime (maybe at an arena island to demonstrate its functionality or something like that)
an npc on Pelion Rift that challenges you to get to the other side of it before the npc runs to it. The npc dashes along Pelion Rift with the speed of a player with max agility, and you have access to your boat.
i agree
a quest given by an old man/woman, telling you of a legendary weapon far to the south (idk the exact coordinates). this sends you on a journey there, and when you get too close, you’re knocked out and taken to a secret gladiator ring. you fight 5 rounds there, with the last being a boss (the previous champion of the ring), and finally get a weapon (ideally, a really cool staff with higher damage than the ones we have, or a new weapon type exclusive to that weapon entirely).
i really want new weapons

Bring back Minotaur and the Exiled
-
Rework parts of their lore to fit the War Seas. Rework most of their moveset and abilities to adjust to AO’s newer, more refined combat system
-
Have talking to them be two different ways to start this side questline, each one meant for the two sides of the reputation system. These questlines are meant to help you get to know them and their situation a little more and overall add character to them
-
At the climax of the questline, have the two face off against each other at an island. One side is the Minotaur and some Keraxe vikings. The other being the Exiled and the town guards. Who you side with decides whether or not Keraxe takes over the town. You can still visit the town before and afterwards, with a few differences depending on who won the battle.
-
At the end of the side quests, the Minotaur and the Exiled can be fought at their respective locations where you’ve first found them. This doesn’t have an effect on your renown, and you can get their respective drops with their unique abilities (also reworked)
Could use some more work, but this is what I’ve thought of before.
Not gonna lie hope we get another character added to the team where WE OURSELVES can customize what they look like using the basic clothing we get and other stuff.
It’d be nice in general if Morden and Iris got a quest.
You know, finally go on a little story with them without it meaning the downfall of an entire kingdom or certain impending death.
