Anyway, my ps4 recently bricked I believe after version 9.04/9.03 was installed and I tried basically every option that doesnt lose you your data and none worked so I was forced to do a hard reset, which was very annoying, but it wasn’t like had thousands of hours or have spent tens of thousands of dollars on games/dlc but still I was pretty disappointed, while it was doing the hard reset though I realized I had another problem and I didn’t remember my psn’s email address and I barely remembered my password, though I just hoped it wouldn’t delete my user, and well…haha… I tried really hard to dig deep through every gmail and email service looking for a “PlaystationPurchase” email, but they were deleted, and normally I had the gmail saved on my google account and I didn’t need to remember it, but I think I signed out of all accounts one time due to a problem or smth which is just that convenient, and I also switched devices so that’s even less of a chance that I can get it back somehow, all these events happening one after another feel like they’re legit scripted or something lmao. It’s been an infuriating couple of weeks, but that’s sony for you, bricks your damn console by updates , and unless I by some miracle of sorts somehow randomly remember what that gmail address was, all the hours and games I bought have gone down the drain. (I do know that some people have it like 10x worse but I just wanna cope )
I didn’t even play much on console untill recently, and the only reason I even did so was because my old laptop wasn’t as good ps4, but now that I’ve gotten an upgrade this laptop is prob on par if not better, so I honestly might do that but I’m literally only sad over the hours I lost in DQXI
side note: I give up at this point, the support page is a labyrinth that leads to the same page no matter what and it seems like they removed the chat service for my issue anyway

I probably don’t even have a total of 800 hours on ps4, but uhhh I’ve poured the most hours into dragonball xenoverse 2 (good game [but fix your netcode and fucking fix the humongous amount of cheese especially awoken hit]), but for the game I poured the most hours in the shortest amount of time prob dragon quest 11 with like 40-60 hours in a little over a week I think(?) with rdr2 in close pursuit
I have some semi-good news, I might be able to recover my account since I figured out how to get to the live agent chat thing (just needed to click the “I don’t have access” option when the bot asked) tried just now, but while I was waiting I briefly saw that the page said “you have been blocked ___” or something like that, I’m assuming that’s because they’re only available on sunday & saturday from 9am-6pm PST (just realized this rn I thought it was from sunday TO saturday ), gonna have to wait a bit to get in contact with a real person, but hopefully they can help me out, I do have all the relevant information required and I’ve heard good things about PS support agents so I have a little hope
Also I know that most likely all the data I had on all my singleplayer games is gone which really sucks, but everytime I play on PC and get bored my brain subconsciously tells me to get on the ps4 but then I realize I don’t even have access to any of my games in the first place and just puts me in a state of dread for a bit so yeah. Also the PS plus monthly games this month are fucking HEATTTTTTTTT I NEED to get my hands on them
Turns out the chat is available is available on normal days, I’m guessing it’s not open on the weekend, but it’s just so much conflicting information on their OWN website but yeah whatever, and lucky me did I find out that they only give their services to people from the US, like both your connection and psn has to be from the US, even using a VPN won’t help since they can see what country your account is asossciated with, like there’s really no benefit of the doubt for them, corona’s been out and about sure, but restrictions have been eased many times across the globe yet they refuse to give anyone but those in the US access to the live chat service. Oh did I mention that this is said absolutely NOWHERE, looking it up online you won’t find any info about this nor on their website, and even when you get the “you have been blocked from the chat” message it doesn’t tell you why, which is just amazin , gonna be trying again later/tomorrow but I’m extremely disappointed to say the least.
