Yeah, it might be a long shot but perhaps the particles shapes could be changed instead of the color like
Triangle, Sine, Square, and Saw Tooth variations
Not the shape of the magic just the particles the make up the magic
Although perhaps the beam attacks could actually be in the shape of that wave.
I lied here’s an ancient one I could think of
Sanguine (deep red) Rotten (grayish purple) and Parasitic (very dark green) Sacrifice Magic
Sulfur magic with it being able to make bullets so the magic would be very small size but insanely quick magic speed, maybe it could have finger gun for the casting animation and the different spells are different types of imaginary guns like beams being a bazooka, self/placed explosion being bombs, etc.
