Sword Burst 2, Sunk a whole day into that game.
Didn’t get past floor 1. Heck, even 1 year after I started SB2, I’m still at Floor 1.
Kill One NPC several times, repeat and repeat without any sense of progression until you rack up enough EXP for a level up. I really wanted to get into this game but just couldn’t.
(G)Dungeon Quest is the usual Dungeon Game.
You get access to one dungeon, and you constantly do that one dungeon until you get access to another dungeon. Rinse and Repeat. It’s a grind fest, sure, but with the constant loot, you can see why it’s addicting.
I’ve never played FF, but from the way it looks, it’s more of an upward climb than anything.
You’re constantly doing chores until you get good enough loot to actually enjoy the game.
AA, self explanatory.
Stand on some high place, activate a Macro to spam Q and E to level your combat level, or if you wanna level up magic, spamming your basic attack. Thankfully, unlike the other games listed here, it’s relatively easy to level yourself up if you have easy access to a macro. Set the whole thing up overnight and you’ll be ready to kill bosses.
DBZ Final Stand isn’t grindy,
but if you pick the wrong things to upgrade, you’ll be sitting in your room for a couple of hours trying to grind yourself up to being able to farm the next quest.
Rogue is less of a grind and more of fetch quests.
once you kill enough people talk to this guy and then to this guy and to this guy .etc .etc until you get an OP class for all of your efforts.
WoM is yes, grindy. Very so.
but there’s enough complaints about the system anyways so I won’t drag on about it.
