Is the third range (Insanity 2) in the Dark Sea even Viable?

I have recently been getting bored of the dark sea! The DS update about a year ago has kept me hooked into the game for a long time. I was wondered is I2 is viable for actual looting… I know that vetex said that’s reccommended for us to go to I0-I2… But I do want some challenge… thanks you

imo, the dark sea lost its viability for me when the invisibility potion got nerfed to the ground in there

that and the only reason why i even went into insanity 2 was the gold pots and cauldrons

most people, or at least the people i’ve seen going into there or further beyond are either going for the pots and cauldrons or they’re going for epicenter/exploring for fun

this is only my opinion, do keep that in mind

to further elaborate, i’m not the best at combat, simply because i don’t have the brainpower to fight them consistently, even with more powerful builds

i understand i have a skill issue, but i don’t see myself growing any further than i already have if level cap/stats aren’t increased

that and being a light mage doesn’t really help out against anything that’s stronger than level cap

Bitch a level 110 atlantean is already capable at outspeeding your dodge while still doing 400 damage per hit how the fuck do you plan to survive level 260s

Siren islands hold more chests, and I’ve had no problem going in without invis or even that much health, grabbing the chests, and leaving without taking that much damage. If you siren hop in layer 2 you’re gonna get exponentially more chests than if you did in layer 1 without much more risk so I find it worth it.

Well I assume that they are like the max capped nimbus NPCs with multiple tumors… Seeing as most people can kill nimbus NPCs… Id think it be simliar

people would use invis for grinding before that nerf, particularly on siren islands

people would get upwards of 100 or more dark sealeds per run iirc, and they’d rejoin servers to do that over and over again until they thought they had enough chests, then pop a luck 5 and fish for the selling period

granted invis also worked on atlanteans, though the larger islands made it nonviable at deeper areas of the dark sea due to it taking too much time, which is why people stuck with siren islands for the most part

Right, so when siren hopping do you only do siren islands and just run away from ships

Yup, no point in wasting ship health, repair time, or galleons fighting atlantean ships with little reward.

The ship I use has 125 speed so that does help a lot with getting away from Atlantean ships, but it shouldn’t be a problem with a bit less.
