Theory: Winterveil and The Thorne Empire used to control the Bronze Sea. Thorne is in Chimera, but as they were allied with Winterveil, they had at least some control in the Bronze Sea. Ravenna was just a small city like Redwake, and wasn’t actually a kingdom. Once Nero turned Ravenna into a kingdom, he destroyed Winterveil, and The Thorne Empire declared war, as they had destroyed Winterveil. And they never stopped warring. It’s a weak theory with pretty much no basis, but it was still cool to write.

wikians generally seem to be self absorbed when viewed from the discussion thread (in fandom, not here), as it functions less like discussing arcane odyssey and more like a trendy discord server where everyone loosely knows arcane odyssey. that combined with the fact the wiki is notorious for having large amounts of missing info/disinformation means they are generally viewed as unreliable douchebags who think they are gods gift to theorycrafting/the fanbase.
