i agree. if you hypothetically boost to lvl 300 and you’re given even a sailboat, you might be cooked
Even if ao is your favourite game of all time there is no way anyone would find enjoyment in repeating the story for the 20th time
I like perfecting my methods to be perfectly levelled every time.
anyway people calling vetex greedy and “predatory” when you dont even have to buy it, its just there for the people who do want to skip ahead, of which there are many
I’m calling this planned game feature predatory, not vetex.
But you’re also wrong
People pay to not play AO.
Its not predatory because its not really preying on anyone
anyway. i don’t really see any problem with this, but thats probably cause i only play on a warrior slot and i have a zerker i hop on from time to time to pretend im homelander. I dont bother creating new slots because im happy with those two builds. So the perspective is different
I guess its infuriating to enjoy making new slots but hating the grind so when you see a feature like this that you need to pay for, it makes you want to toss a table.
i do agree that a trial of one but in ao is a good idea for something like this but we don’t understand (or maybe i don’t understand) How much each buyable level milestone costs. if its something cheap like 100 or 200 robux, thats lightwork. 500 is maybe pretty high
that being said, he should also add extra methods of quicker exp grind. i heard people are reaching max level in like 7 hours or something? i dont know how they’re doing it
so true, imagine having to play through the ENTIRE GAME AGAIN with a New Build with different fun abilities and mechanics while maybe taking a different story path with different dialogue choices! (3 hours if you know what you’re doing)
I usually take 6 hours or so to get to a “starting post-story” character, with no gear from other characters. For me that means I got the first Sameria spawn point (I don’t do the rest of the story since it’ll be trivial to do once the story advances, bank some experience that way), upgraded Edward, Enizor, dodge reflex, and level cap.
- Best way to get levels is diving spots and treasure maps. Try to point your ship towards where you’ll respawn if there are sharks.
- Avoid quests that can take a long time, such as the pirate quests (unless you plan on picking up Boxing), the anglerfish quest, or the tomato quest.
- Pick up explosive barrels where you can find them and put them on your ship to sell later. Pick up two crates when you leave a town so you can sell them at your next destination.
- At level 30, pick up a bronze rod (for fishing quests), and speed sails and armor for your ship. Enchant, prioritizing the rod first, then the sails, but don’t worry about the armor enchants.
- Make sure you’re ready for the Ravenna bosses before you talk to the Tiberia bandits, since that’s when you die entering Ravenna towns.
- Try to take quests with similar or same goals (eg. Cannon Fist bounty quest (if you want Cannon Fist), Dodge Reflex criminal hunt quest, and Shell Island criminal hunt quest; or multiple fishing quests like the 3 at Ravenna or the 3 low level ones including the Edward quest)
- Exploration experience is pretty good, so pick up the items and chests you run across.
- If you turn in your ore before talking to the NPC I can’t remember in the back of the mines on the second day, an extra box of ore will appear in your hand for you to drop off. Go the extra mile, show that you’re a dedicated worker!
- Consider leaving the game and returning when it will be faster to respawn, such as during the Sky Island portions of the game and heading to Mount Orthys after the Jaws pillar
- There are ways to climb up Mount Orthys, just make sure to go to the entrance to the caves so you can progress the main quest.
My best method is just to get it all done, even outside the story, and follow a very specific pattern at Redwake and the Sky Islands.
Of course, by “All”, I mean avoiding the giant bananas quest, avoiding the dark sea, avoiding the fortified pirate ship quest, avoiding the cook big meal quest, etc.
-
4 hours is the minimum (anti-cheat)
- 4 hours remains a lot
- Not everyone is going to be this fast
-
Arcane Odyssey’s end level will be somewhere around 600, meaning that progress will be far longer than it is now
- People who legitimately reached these levels on alternate files will feel as if it’s unfair when people pay to skip it (likely developing a hate culture torwards said players)
-
Builds may vary but they ultimately all feel the same at low levels: bland.
- Besides that, having to go through the same story/bosses all over again isn’t that fun when you already know it well enough (which you are guaranteed to, otherwise you wouldn’t dedicate your time to building another file from the ground-up)
Really, this is just a paid quality of life feature, something we mocked EA for having because of how ridiculous the thought of it is.
You can’t just buy starter pack thing that gave 100 lvl with 0 hours
Read at trello again, you have to reach lvl 100 first in your first file in order to buy Starter pack in another file and even then level up is straight up easy af due to the quest giving shit ton of EXP (i literally reached lvl 140 by only doing side quests and treasure charts before travel to Ravenna storyline part)
Side quest is exist for a reason, for you to level up very quickly
Plus most of them are Easy enough to complete and gave you nearly 10k or higher XP
No it’s not predatory would be selling something rng based that provides an advantage over other players like a sunken for robux since it provides an unfair advantage level skipping is not an unfair advantage bro
Don’t need to talk to that moron anyway, he misunderstood
anyway im not gonna Continue saying here in this post anymore since i aren’t trying to be keyboard warrior and prefer to keep thing short
