I have noticed that nobody really talks about the Arcane Odyssey, and Arcane Adventures powerscaling lore. (Because there barely is any). So I just wanted to open up this forum post for the 1.5 people who care about talking about it.
Heres my top 5
Zeus
Poseidon
Arthur
Prometheus
Theos
Feel free to discuss my list, make your own, or talk about whatever other powerscaling topic you want to talk about
I do think at least one or two Dragonlords (also Typhon maybe) should be on that list since they’re a lot more durable than people and are pretty strong.
Got no scaling to support it right now, especially if you think they are considered mages since Theos is stated the strongest mage which would place them below him in scaling
it was stated that apophis could, not sure about the other ones. Not sure about the diff either. Also if you dont consider dragons mages, then what do you consider them?
In my opinion, being a person is required for being a mage and dragons ain’t people. But, ignoring that, I highly doubt Vetex was explicitly including dragons when he said Theos is the strongest mage.
Also I might be wrong but I wouldn’t be surprised if that was said way before dragons would be added anyways.
Okay well lets be specific here, what do you mean by people, do characters that are vastus’s for example also not count as mages? And why would that be. And also, I don’t see the issue with dragons being included in this title anyways since currently. The best scaling we have for one, is defeating the Peacekeeper, who was stated below prime theos anyways
mage is a term used to refer to humans who are capable of wielding their magical energy and forming it into spells with intent
dragons on the other hand are magical beings that are definitely not humans, though they can wield magic (i think all of them can to some extent unlike humans)
By people I mostly just mean humans since that’s kinda the only meaningful definition unless you count anything that is sapient as a person. Vastus are still people since they can reproduce with them and could reasonably be considered a different species of human, unlike dragons.
Also pretty much all older dragons can use magic, do unlike people there’s no real distinction between mages and non mages aside from age.
