I think I’ve progressed enough to make a mirror dungeon team for every status effect, just to farm starlight most efficiently and to ease my mind. Just gonna post them here because I spent an hour+ just planning out how to get 6 functional teams with no repeated identities and fully optimized support passives and then type it out in a notepad. Maybe you’ll find these useful? Probably just for choosing the support identities, though you probably don’t have the exact same id’s I have.
Note that half of these are unfinished so I’ll also give recs on what would be ideal
Also nothing on egos because there isn’t as much of them and choosing them is more obvious, but I’ll mention them in comments
These teams are for dungeon but probably also work outside of it, the “My Team:” is what I choose for dungeon
If the supports look weird that’s probably because the sinner already has another identity that does it’s job better, so I had to fit in into another team as a dud. Also not all of my support choices are the most optimal, but I tried to make them very optimal.
If you are broke and can only get 5 lads for a team then consider double slotting someone by having an empty spot in a focused encounter, it’s sometimes more viable anyways
Yi Sang: LCB Sinner
Faust: Zwei Assoc.
Don: Shi Assoc.
Ryoshu: Liu Assoc.
Meursault: Liu Assoc.
Hong Lu: Liu Assoc.
~
Heathcliff: Shi Assoc.
Ishmael: Shi Assoc.
Rodion: LCCB Assistant
Sinclair: Dawn Office Fixer
Outis: Magic Bullet
Gregor: Liu Assoc.
My Team: Everything on the right side of the menu (All the lius and walpurgis, probably remove Hong Lu for his passive and double slot someone or use a random)
Yi Sang: Dieci Assoc.
Faust: LCB Sinner
Don: Middle
Ryoshu: Red Eyes
Meursault: Middle
Hong Lu: Hook Office
~
Heathcliff: N Corp Inquisition
Ishmael: Wuthering Heights Maid
Rodion: N Corp Inquisition
Sinclair: N Corp Inquisition
Outis: Ring Pointilist
Gregor: Kurokumo
My Team: Everyone on the right side of the menu but replace Middle Meursault with Middle Don, prefer Ring Yi Sang over Gripped Sinclair (bleed kinda just wins with bloody mist anyways)
Yi Sang: Molar
Faust: Regret
Don: N Corp Inquisition
Ryoshu: D20 Yurodivy
Meursault: Rosespanner
Hong Lu: D20 Yurodivy
~
Heathcliff: LCB Sinner
Ishmael: LCCB Assistant
Rodion: Rosespanner
Sinclair: Molar Boatworks
Outis: Molar
Gregor: R.B.
My Team: All 3*'s + Yuro Ryoshu and Molar Yi Sang
CONTAINS DUPES

Sinclair: Los Mariachis Jefe

Hong Lu: Tingtang
~
Heathcliff: Sunshower

Rodion: Zwei Assoc.
Sinclair: Blade Lineage

Don: W Corp. Cleanup
Ryoshu: W Corp. Cleanup
Meursault: R Corp. Rhino
Hong Lu: W Corp. Cleanup
~
Heathcliff: Multicrack

Ishmael: Pequod

Gregor: Twinhook
My Team: The Pequod, Kurokumo Rodya, Twinhook Gregor, then 'cause I don’t have a 5th bloise unit I’ve chosen Kurokumo Ryoshu and Cinq Outis
I’m surprised nobody’s talked about the new bygone days. (or devyat)
This thing’s like the horrid amalgam of rime shank, hex nail, fluid sack, and a butler.
even outside of sinking teams, if you want to run bleed for the next chapter:
Look at all these negative status effects on 3 attack weight.
This is perfect for the ring characters… who just so happen to have gloom, lust, and sloth.
how come I get bygone days in 4 rolls and don’t get good Walpurgis pulls in 64 rolls
I am sorry for your loss.
but hey you have this absolutely ludicrous ego now.
(it also has healing for some reason???)
I pray this EGO will carry me towards the dream ending
Also should I use bygone days gregor?
(Also is it worth trying to speed-run to level 130 on the season pass in-attempt to get healthcliff’s bindings)
bygone days gregor has insane SP healing support if you have the sinking output to make it work…
which you can get via bygone days yi-sang which apparently triggers echos of the manor several times from what I’ve heard.
which you can apply via bygone days ishmael…
I think you get the idea.
also no.
because you won’t need to speedrun.
if you are playing the game you’ll probably be well over level 130 by the end of it.
I think I’m past level 600 on the battlepass right now and I mostly just do weekly stuff.
oh wait it has echoes how didnt i notice that
solemn lament gregor shall reign supreme
it only has echos when corroded.
with this, i will now be attempting to do solo mariachi sinclair mdh
may my sanity rest in peace
edit: beat floor 1, gonna continue later but im having fun (except for the first battle that sucked, very rng heavy)
HE’S THE GOAT!!
probably the most fun ive had in limbus in a while, aside from the first fight (rng) and a random prequod town jumpscare on floor 5 (had to corrode to lantern)
His dodge absolutely carries him, too bad he’s so agonizingly slow that he can’t make ANY use of it in a team.
virgin coffin man vs chad mexican
i forgot to mention this was my first solo
I wanna try to run a solo, possibly with don quixote base id, but I’m missing stuff like healing ego
iirc don quixote base ego ends up being good enough healing for md, you really just need that one gift that heals on hit once per turn and it + rest stops is enough healing for most of the run (unless you get an unlucky encounter, like i did with rosespanner fixers which stacked 20 tremor and burst it turn 2)
other thing to know is to avoid anything that can end up having prequod town encounters on floor 4 or 5, esp 5
to get an idea of how bad it is their evades rolled a 30 in my solo run, had to corrode to lantern to beat them
you need to get ego resources for it. LCB doesn’t fuel it
