Yeah, heard that there’s some law/game-related group in Japan or Korea that basically ensures that nerfs never happen because it’s technically making people lose what they paid for. Makes sense, but it leaves these games objective worse imo (The temporary fun of power creep is not worth having a balanced game that’s allowed to have unique gameplay mechanics imo).
Even if those pseudo-laws didn’t exist the asian part of the playerbase would probably rebel against it. Also whatever tf happened in Korea during “The Vellmori Incident”

Well, battling against the final boss of Canto VII was an ordeal. Never thought that default Rodya, Gregor, and mexican Sinclair (all of which were around level 20) would be what saved me, lol.
it also took me way too long to beat, like holy smokes - 40+ turns?!
A bit of a spoiler warning in case if you want to beat the final boss yourself
Just make sure that Don gets a few more skill slots than others - basically kill off your sinners until a few are left. If she’s in good condition, you can probably kill everyone else off. Don (most likely) won’t die if there’s still some sinners left.
We really need to talk to whoever designed some parts of the dungeon though, why the heck would you put unbreakable coins in attacks where you’re bound to get staggered due to certain status effects? (bleed and rupture are the main offenders here, especially with the amount of mass attacks you have to deal with)
I overall found the Canto to be very enjoyable, but if I get hit with a cheap unbreakable mass attack that loads my sinners with a bunch of negative status effects one more time I’m going to fricking distort.

the poor guy just gets STEAMROLLED in every other phase.
