I don’t know what this ‘bodies manipulated’ means, but it’s probably the only way to make themself live longer, maybe? since spirit energy is some kind of life fore

Oracles are technically the only build that has no actual power itself

Weapon users can increase the aura of any weapon they use
Strength users use their own latent magic energy to improve strength
Magic builds… uh. have magic
but for oracles, their is utterly nothing special about the user, all the power comes from the spirit weapons instead

Well, in all fairness, experienced oracles would likely have more spirit energy than regular people in the same way experienced magic users have more magic energy. One could be under the assumption that more spirit energy = more life force but like :person_shrugging:

If spirit energy is meant to be the mirror to magic energy, then shouldn’t they have similar capabilities

Yeah I don’t see why Oracles would be considered “weaker” lore wise, it’s just spirit energy is bread of magic energy
That’s like saying Warriors are weaker because they use weapons instead of just pure magic energy like mages do.
I assume they need the spirit weapon to actually channel their energy though, since they obviously can’t make magic circles or something similar.

They’re not weaker they just don’t get extended lifespan. Vetex described them as less than or equal to magic users so while they don’t exceed them(potential wise) they can still be as strong as magic users.
